This clinic is for people who are interested in learning about the exciting sport of dog scootering.

It will cover the following topics:

• Introduction to Dog Scootering and Dryland Mushing
• Introduction to the types of dryland sled dog sports, and the equipment used.
• How to fit your dog with a harness.
• How to begin teaching your dog to pull.
• Introduction to the common commands and dog skills, and some techniques for teaching them.
• Information on upcoming events, races and training sessions you can participate in.

Cost: The cost to participate is to buy a Mush Larose membership, $30. For current Mush Larose members, the event is free of charge. For new members, the membership will be good from May 2010 to August 2011. Membership calendar year is September 2010 to August 2011, May 2010 to September 2010 will be included gratis.
